Project Description:  Project is a replat of 4 separate pieces of property into 1 large lot. Lots 19 & 20 currently have a church (Indian Oaks Primitive Baptist Church) built on them, lots 1B & 2B were a residential house which was purchased by the church and then demolished. This property along with the 2 current properties are being replatted into the 1 lot to clean everything up for the church. The portion of the property which was the residential home will eventually be used for additional church parking.

Dave Gattis City of Benbrook 7/14/2014 It appears that the property is located in APZ-I and within the 75 dB contour. My understanding is that the intent is simply to combine the platted lots where an existing church sits and to allow the expansion of the parking lot. Churches are not a compatible use for either the APZ-I or the 75 dB contour. If the plan is as stated, then I have no objection. I would caution against any future plans to expand the church building.
Jack Adkison City of River Oaks 7/14/2014 I have no problem with this as presented. I would discourage any expanson of the actual building for more people.
Randy Skinner Tarrant County 7/16/2014 Churches are not compatible with APZ-1. However, I understand this to be a replat to clean up the property where the church currently sits, with no additional structures proposed. I see no problems with the intended project.
Rachel Wiggins Past CPLO at NAS Fort Worth, JRB 7/17/2014 As noted by previous commentors, the existing land use is not compatible with AICUZ guidelines (based on its location in APZ-1 and the 75+ dB DNL noise zone). However, this project consists of an overall reduction in single family use in this zone, and shows no increase in density over time. For that reason, there are no concerns from the installation. Thank you.
Norman Robbins Lockheed Martin 7/30/2014 Replatting the property to accommodate additional parking should have no impact on the aircraft operational needs of Lockheed Martin. Since the location of a church in this area is not compatible with AICUZ guidelines, future church expansion at this site would not be helpful to aircraft operational needs.
