Notes:
PURPOSE
FirstNet is moving to deploy the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network (NPSBN), referred to as the "FirstNet Network." To date, FirstNet has been closely engaged with the state and territory Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) to consult with the state/local/tribal public safety agencies, executives and elected leaders. FirstNet is expanding and increasing engagements by meeting with public safety leaders across the nation to further its knowledge of public safetyís wireless usage and needs, and answer major questions public safety has about the FirstNet Network.

ENGAGEMENT FOCUS
Leadership engagements are designed to provide information, receive input and share answers to the questions of public safety officials. The engagements will ensure participants know how to connect to their state SPOCs and share input to their stateís planning process, learn about FirstNetís objectives and timeline, understand how the FirstNet Network will benefit public safety, and have their primary questions answered about FirstNet. These briefings will also provide FirstNet the opportunity to directly connect with public safety leaders to learn more about their agenciesí wireless usage, needs, priorities, equipment and procurement.
