High pH was recorded. PBS&J notified the City of Mesquite immediately. An investigation was performed on the upstream watershed. Investigators found a commercial center parking lot with concrete road-base materials scattered across the ground. Subsequent pH measurements in ponded areas in the parking lot indicated that the source of high pH originated from that site. The City of Mesquite instructed the commercial center contractor to mitigate.
